Ways To Help The Earth and Stay Active

Every April, we celebrate Earth day. How You Can Celebrate Earth Day and Stay Active

Gardening

Working in a garden is a peaceful and wholesome activity that offers just enough physical activity to elevate your heart rate. Maintaining your own garden is also a wonderful way to connect with nature, Gardening your own veggies also promotes sustainable agriculture, something essential to our planet’s health.

Ride a Bike

Even for just one day, leave your car in the garage and take your bike everywhere. This is obviously a great cardio and lower-body workout, but it also reduces your carbon footprint. Weather permitting, try doing this a few times a week, not just on Earth Day!

Volunteer

Get out and volunteer to help with trash clean-up. This isn’t strenuous by any means, but it will keep you up and moving and likely elevate your heart rate. And, this goes without saying, helping to clean up the environment is a great favor you can do for our beautiful planet.

So those are three simple ways to help the Earth and stay active! Have any other ideas? Leave a comment or send us a picture of how you’re celebrating on social media!
