Unfortunately, we don’t always have time to make it to the gym, but don’t let that hinder you from getting where you want to be. Exercise variation is essential to reaching your goals. In fact, it tests your limits and pushes you past plateaus. Sometimes, people might give you flak for skipping “leg day”, but this routine will ensure you will not be on the receiving end. These are all leg exercises that require no equipment whatsoever, so not making it to the gym is no excuse. Don’t skip leg day!
LEG DAY EXERCISES! (No Equipment Needed)
3 Sets of 20 Curtsy Lunges and 10 Squat Jumps
4 Sets of 20 Alternating Reverse Lunges and 20 seconds of Pulse Squat
2 Sets of 15 Lateral Lunges (each side) and 10 Power Skips (each side)
4 Sets of 20 Body Weight Squats and 30 seconds of Mountain Climbers
1 Set of Stairway to Heaven (Calf Raises on stairs, starting at 1 on the first step, each step is an additional calf raise)
Leg day should be an essential part of your week. You rely on your legs to the point you may take their functionality for granted sometimes.
